dr. Florin Alin Sava

- Short bio.:
Florin is professor at the Department of Psychology at West University of Timisoara and also the principal investigator and the team leader for the Romanian research group. His key expertise lies in personality psychology and evidence-based interventions, including conducting online and onsite randomized trials. He has served as principal investigator and/or mentor / senior researcher in more than 10 national and international grants. Currently, he is a member of the Executive Committee of the European Association of Personality Psychology and an Editorial Board member for the European Journal of Personality and for Personality Science.

dr. Laurențiu Maricuțoiu
- Position: Key expert
- Short bio.:
Laurențiu has a PhD in Psychology from the Babeș-Bolyai University (2010),
and is Associate Professor at the Department of Psychology from West University of Timișoara. Dr. Maricuțoiu coordinated two research grants,
out of which one was focused on personality assessment (Investigation of strategies for enhancing predictive validity in personality assessment,
â2013-2015, Total budget 66921 EUR). His latest relevant research output is an article published in the Journal of Experimental Social Psychology,
in which he analyses the reversibility of the self-reference task, which implies the use of self as a source of evaluative learning.

dr. Andrei Rusu
- Position: Key expert
- Short bio.:
Andrei is assistant professor at the Department of Psychology from West University of Timisoara.
He completed his Ph.D. in Psychology at 'Alexandru Ioan Cuza' University, Iași (2013), where he also completed a postdoctoral program (2014-2015).
Both his doctoral and postdoctoral research focused on testing methods and theories of implicit social cognition in the field of organizational psychology and vocational behavior.
His research experience diversified through several research assistant and postdoctoral roles he had in nationally funded research grants.
Some of this projects were focused on developing and testing intervention programs (includin internet-based) for behavioral change.
Currently, Andrei’s main research interests focus on employing implicit social cognition theories and methods in applied areas such as industrial-organizational and health psychology.

dr. Cristina Maroiu
- Position: Key expert
- Short bio.:
Cristina has a PhD in Psychology from the West University of Timisoara (2019), and now occupies a three-year temporary position at the Department of Psychology in Timisoara.
During her PhD studies, dr. Maroiu published three research papers, one of which was relevant for the field of personality psychology (Maroiu, Maricutoiu, and Sava, 2016 in Personality and Individual Differences).
Her current research interests revolve around moral impression formation and rationality. Cristina is following these research streams in a ongoing postdoctoral research grant.

Cătălina Bunghez

- Short bio.:
Catalina is currently a PhD student and research assistant in the Department of Psychology from West University of Timișoara.
Her research interests involve topics related to evaluative conditioning and personality.
More specifically, she is interested in how personality traits (e.g., neuroticism) shape the valence transfer in classical evaluative conditioning,
as well as in evaluative conditioning with ambiguous stimuli / uncertainty contexts.

Ștefan Marian

Ștefan is a PhD student and research assistant in the Department of Psychology from West University of Timișoara.
His research interesents involve psychopathology, network analysis and clinical psychology.
More specifically, Ștefan is interested in the study of anxiety and anxiety disorders through the network analysis perspective,
and the possibility of psychotherapeutical interventions focused on central symptoms.

Florina is currently a PhD student and a research assistant in the Department of Psychology from West University of Timisoara
Her research interests are focused on evaluative conditioning, attribute conditioning, implicit learning, personality and psychopathology.
More specific, she is studying the manner in which neuroticism and agreeableness can interact and shape the effects of evaluative conditioning
and impact the process of attitude formation towards a person, when a series of positive or negative stimuli are taken into account.

Anca is a research assistant and PhD student in the Department of Psychology at West University of Timisoara.
Her main research interests are evaluative conditioning, learning biases, and personality.
More specific, she is studying the potential mediation effect of various biases such as attention, memory and interpretation in the evaluating conditioning effect in neurotic individuals.
